Experience
After returning from Japan, I substitute taught for three years. I substitute taught all levels and all subjects. After that, I worked at a charter, Sheridan Japanese School. I taught 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th grades, Language Arts, Social Studies and Math. I want to tutor because the ability to work one-one-one with students holds so much value and opportunity. It is amazing what can be achieved when a child gets that individualized time with a teacher. I have taken all the required Reading Specialist courses needed to add an endorsement to my license. I currently teach 4th grade in Newberg at an elementary school. This is my 4th year at this school.
